In this article, I want to examine the relationship between prostitution and motherhood in interwar Czechoslovakia. The second part of the paper focuses on the following questions: How did prostitutes plan motherhood? What was their relationship to the children and what happened with their children? How did society look at the parenting of prostitutes? The research design will be based on an analysis and the interpretations of medical, political, moral, and social discourse.
