eng Community in Contemporary American Ethnic Crime Fiction Crime fiction ranks among one of the most widely read genres of popular literature. Its history is rich and within the genres, many variations or sub-genres have emerged. Early stories and novels of the Anglophone crime fiction tradition were mostly focused on the unexpected twists of plot, the puzzle.
