K Labyrintu světa	Předkládaná Čyževského studie pojednává v první části o stylistických a v druhé části o tematických vlastnostech Labyrintu a vybízí k promýšlení několika nových otázek. V první části zaměřené na některé stylové zvláštnosti Labyrintu sleduje Čyževskyj zevrubným způsobem roli početných tzv. slovesných řetězců, které mají ve stylistice Labyrintu mimořádný význam. Čyževskyj člení slovesné řetězce podle rozmanitých hledisek a ukazuje, jak jsou jejich členy navzájem těsněji propojovány rozličnými jazykovými prostředky. Ve druhé části autor vymezuje témata, která prostupují celým Labyrintem, přičemž pozornost upíná zejména ke čtyřem stěžejním: k tématu duchovní cesty, tématu vypuzené pravdy, nesmyslnosti či absurdnosti lidského světa a tématu Krista a lidské duše. Pozornost věnuje také propojení obou částí Labyrintu, negativní alegorii či podobnosti s díly J. V. Andreae. Čyževského studii předchází úvodní studie Jany Stejskalové, která krátce shrnuje Čyževského život, naznačuje osobní i vědecké vazby Čyževského k Antonínu Škarkovi a Janu Mukařovskému a poukazuje na postavení Čyževského studie mezi jinými analytickými a syntetickými interpretacemi Labyrintu. To the Labyrinth of the World	There are a whole range of meritorious works that deal with the Comenius’ masterpiece Labyrinth of the World and Paradise of the Heart and analyze this Comenius’ work from various points of view. However, Dmytro Chyzhevsky presented a completely unique work in this way which in an original way presents a exhaustive and sophisticated view on the Labyrinth and provides rich and comprehensive material for its deeper reflection. In the first part, focusing on some of the stylistic peculiarities of the Labyrinth, Chyzhevsky observes in a detailed manner the role of numerous so-called verbal chains which are of special importance in the stylistics of the Labyrinth. In the second part, the author defines themes that go through the whole Labyrinth, focusing especially on the four principal ones such as the theme of the spiritual journey, theme of the expelled Truth, the senselessness of the world and the theme of Christ and the human soul. Attention is also paid to the interconnection of both parts of the Labyrinth, negative allegory or similarity with the works of J. V. Andreae. This never-published two-part study which was probably written in 1941 is first published in this volume. The study of Chyzhevsky is preceded by an introductory study written by Jana Stejskalová. The study briefly summarizes the life and work of Dmytro Chyzhevsky, outlines the personal and scientific ties of Dmytro Chyzhevsky to Antonín Škarka and Jan Mukařovský and points to the position of the Chyzhevsky’s study within the meaningful analytical and synthetic interpretations of the Labyrinth.
