Známé Lemovo rozvíjení tvorby po dvou liniích – příběhové a esejisticky filozofující – se promítá do českých překladů a literárněhistorických komentářů (edičních paratextů, literárněvědných studií a kritických ohlasů) teprve v 70. a 80. letech 20. století. Zatímco sci-fi fandom a dokonce i normalizační nakladatelé přejí spíše první linii, zcela ojedinělí představitelé tzv. šedé zóny objevují rovněž linii druhou (Vlášek, Jungwirth). Právě ti druzí nacházejí v esejisticky filozofujících textech jak parodistický nadhled, tak překračování hranice sci-fi směrem k postmoderní problematizaci žánrovosti vůbec. eng	Stanislaw Lem Crosses the Borders.Self-reflective Potentials of Genres	Petr Poslední focuses on the texts of the renowned Polish writer Stanislaw Lem, namely on the Czech reception of his books and ideas. Famous Lem’s dual literary conception – covering both narrative and essayistic aspects – has been reflected in Czech translations and literary historical comments (edition paratexts, literary studies and reviews) no sooner than in the 1970s and 1980s. While the sci-fi fandom and even the regime publishers rather favour the first line, some unique representatives of the so-called grey zone discover also the second aspect (Vlášek, Jungwirth). These translators are the ones who in Lem’s essayistic and philosophical texts found both the parody perspective and genre border crossing corresponding with the postmodern relativization of genres in general. Among these, especially Jungwirth’s interpretations of Lem’s narrativity through the creative dialogue with the author rank among the most inspiring.
