Zkoumání zahrnuje několik teoretických příspěvků na obecné téma moci, stejně jako pokus tyto teorie usadit na základě relfexe festivalů, čímž nabízí možnost představit nové metodologické přístupy. eng	Rethinking the Festival: Power and Politics	Festival has not only been a relevant object of study in many an ethnographic research but also a major comparative category shaped by the theoretical contribution of different social sciences, history and anthropology in particular. This article, starting from a critical – though brief – history of the studies, focuses on several amongst the most recent approaches to the study of festivals and public events, both emphasizing the discontinuity between those approaches and the older ones and highlighting the matters related to the political dimensions which can be observed and interpreted through an anthropological enquiry. An examination of several theoretical contributions on the general theme of power is also present, as well as an attempt to encapsulate these theories in the reflection on festivals, and, by doing so, allow for the possibility to imagine new methodological attitudes.
