cze Schole ? Ascholia: The Concept of School in Palouš´ Thinking. Phenomenology of education is the central topic of Palouš´ thinking. Palouš shows, that modern school has its own historical-philosophical assumptions. Palouš follows several motives: 1) the idea of school point at the ancient term of paidea, education, especially at the Socrates´ dialogue and his influence at the long tradition of education (education and philosophy as a care about soul ? epimélea peri tés psychés), 2) philosopher and theologian Comenius (a christian of protestant denomination, the Bishop of The Church of Czech Brethern) and his idea of general consultation about amendation (De rerum humanarum emendatione consultatio catholica) of all thinks of man (religion, politics, education-philosophy) and 3) the modern changes of society, which brought a new technological development and made a school as a new kind of preparation (qualification) for everyday life in ever more sofisticated society. Palouš reflects this conditon and points out the original sense of the school and education. Filosofie, škola, výchova, Palouš
