The Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of the University of Pardubice offers a series of lectures for the public known as the University of Leisure. The aim of the organisers is to present the history of human civilisation in its entirety and, at the same time, to showcase the humanities disciplines taught at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy.
Through annual cycles of lectures, clearly defined by theme or chronology, the public is introduced to the development of human civilisation from antiquity to the present day.
