It is essential to us that students with disabilities or any other form of disadvantage feel comfortable at the Faculty.

That is why we are constantly working together to break down barriers, both physical and mental. We are accessible to people with reduced mobility, committed to students with sensory impairments and other specific needs, and support students with specific learning disabilities.

In cooperation with the ALMA Centre, the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of the University of Pardubice has a coordinator responsible for supporting students and applicants with specific needs at the Faculty level. The Faculty Coordinator usually ensures or is involved in the following:

  • liaising with the applicant who has requested that their disability/disadvantage be taken into account to discuss and prepare a modified admissions procedure,
  • participating in making adjustments to the timetable of a student with specific needs where the nature of the student’s disability/disadvantage so requires,
  • helping to develop a personalised educational plan for a student with specific needs,
  • informing lecturers about the participation of students with specific needs in their classes.

If necessary, please do not hesitate to contact the Faculty Coordinator.
