The main aim of the event is to discuss current issues with key figures in the field, but it also provides a platform for academics, students and guests to meet. The unifying factor across all years has been a strong theme, networking, collaboration and openness.

Society and Media
The Institute of Administrative and Social Sciences of the Faculty of Economics and Administration, in cooperation with the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of the University of Pardubice, organised the third edition of the annual event SOCIETY AND ITS MANAGEMENT: Society and Media, which took place on 10 April 2024 in the Atrium of the University of Pardubice.
The event featured discussions with experts or even popular personalities. Guests included popular influencer Kovy and reporter of Czech Television Richard Samko. The digital creator, journalist and junior advisor to the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Johana Bázlerová, and the Secretary of the City of Pardubice, Michal Zítko, also spoke.
Society and Human Rights
The Institute of Administrative and Social Sciences of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of Pardubice organised the second edition of the annual event SOCIETY AND ITS MANAGEMENT: Society and Human Rights, which took place on 12 April 2023 in the Atrium of the University of Pardubice.
This year, the event featured discussions with leading human rights experts. Among the guests were Charter 77 signatory and former ombudsman Anna Šabatová and Government Commissioner for Human Rights Klára Šimáčková Laurenčíková.
This second edition of the annual event “Society and Its Management” builds on last year’s successful theme of Society and Democracy, which featured musician and politician Michael Kocáb as the keynote speaker. For next year, the faculty is already planning discussions on Society and Media.
Society and Democracy
The Institute of Administrative and Social Sciences of the Faculty of Economics and Administration invited students and the entire academic community of the University of Pardubice to the event “Society and Its Management: Society and Democracy”.
The event took place on 6 April 2022 in the EB building (Studentská 95) and in the outdoor atrium by the Václav Havel bench. In addition to representatives of the Czechoslovak Legionary Community and the Memory of Nations, the musician and politician Michael Kocáb also spoke.
