UPCE On Air: Studying at UPCE with Japanese Student Mayuka
Mayuka Fujiwara came to the University of Pardubice from Japan as an Erasmus student at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy. She chose Pardubice for its great location – and during her stay, she managed to explore half of Europe, including Italy, France, and Austria. In the podcast, we talked about her experience with Czech food – she fell in love with svíčková with cranberries, goulash, and potato salad.
What will she miss the most after returning home? The peace and slower pace of life – something she says is very different from Japan. Mayuka is also a talented musician – she plays the saxophone and clarinet and even gave us a mini concert during the episode.
