Researchers’ Night is an event that offers visitors the unique opportunity to explore a wide range of scientific facilities that are not usually accessible to the public. Visitors are invited to explore the laboratories, lecture rooms and areas of active experimentation, where they can delve into current topics. We warmly welcome children, adults and seniors alike, as well as anyone who is passionate about science. Meet our scientists and learn about the exciting world of science.

On Friday, 26 September 2025, the University of Pardubice’s scientific departments will open their doors to visitors. Here, all faculties of the University of Pardubice will guide you through science.

This year’s theme is Wealth.

Researchers’ Night at the University of Pardubice is part of a Europe-wide event. In the Czech Republic alone, more than 40 universities, science centres, science departments and institutions are taking part. On this single day, scientists typically open their workplaces at hundreds of locations throughout the evening and night for free guided tours, popular educational lectures, workshops, experiments, science shows, and musical performances.

The aim of Researchers’ Night is to dispel myths about scientists and show the public that their work benefits us all and that they can present it in an engaging way. Researchers’ Night was initiated by the European Commission in 2005.
