Project description:
The research will focus on the transformations of heterosexual love in the Czech lands from the late 18th to the 1960s. It attempts to answer the question of when and in which social environment emotional motives began to prevail over economic and social motives in marriage. When is love as an emotion (fully) rehabilitated not only in social bonds but also in textual formations (this will be both professional and beautiful literature).
