Why did you choose our university for your Erasmus stay?
Though it was  not my first choice, I still came because of the geographical advantages of Czech Republic. Its centric position allowed me to travel all around Europe in such an easy way.

What were your first impressions upon arrival?
I thought it was better than expected. I had little expectations and I got kindly surprised.

How would you rate the quality of teaching and support from the faculty?
9/10 very reliable. Everything was perfect though sometimes I missed the complicity that I have with my teachers back home. We are more relaxed and we aim for a non-hierarchal university.

What surprised or pleased you the most during your stay?
The level of English. I was a bit concerned about going to a country whose first language was not English. Even so, the teachers were amazing in their performance and I learnt so much throughout the year.

What activities or places would you recommend to future Erasmus students?
Prague is a must-visit. Maybe a bit crowded, but you do not have to live there to enjoy its life. Brno was also a very nice city.

Regarding nature, Adršpach was one of the best spots, paired with Sněžka (hike in the winter I beg you).

Concerning Pardubice, I would say that the best you can do is just wander around. Let yourself get lost and enter random cafeterias whenever you need a break. My favourite is TROUBA. 😉
