Scholars from Czech and foreign universities met in Pardubice to present and share their research findings and to discuss a variety of contributions related to the concept of ‘framing’. In two main sections (Literature and Cultural Studies, Teaching/Learning English and Linguistics), the participants analysed and commented on a wide range of topics, including interculturality; issues and approaches related to genre, poetry, fictionality, or ethnicity; non-native discourse, computer mediated communication or learning English in and outside the school.
