The aim of the project is to develop professional competence of students studying programmes in educational sciences (namely student teachers of English educated in bachelor and follow-up master studies) in deep cooperation with in-service institutiions of primary, lower and upper-secondary level of education. Such cooperation may enhance students motivation and interest in entering the teaching profession. The project emphasizes integrating theory and practice through the model of the teacher being the reflective practiotioner, i.e. constructing sound knowledge base of teaching, especially in observing, teaching practice, microteaching, doing a part of the selected courses together with in-service teachers and other workers involved in education, and sharing experience.
