Kapitola se věnuje novým typům uměleckých meditací spojených s vodními světy. Existenciální nálada barokní literatury a koncepční kázání přispěly alegoriemi vodních světů a jejich flóry a fauny do interiérů kostelů, často v fantazijních pohádkových kulisách. Kazatelna v kostele sv. Petra a Pavla v lázeňském městě Duszniki-Zdrój je pozoruhodným příkladem takzvaných Schiffkanzeln z 20. let 18. století. Má podobu obrovské ryby s otevřenou tlamou pro kněze, který se tak stává protějškem biblického proroka Jonáše. eng The Whale Pulpit in Duszniki-Zdrój and Images of the Freshwater (and Sea) World in Central European Baroque Art. Between naturalism and fantasy. This chapter focuses on new types of artistic meditations associated with water worlds. The existential mood of Baroque literature and conceptual sermons contributed allegories of water worlds and their flora and fauna to church interiors, often in fantastical fairy-tale settings. The pulpit in the Church of St. Peter and Paul in the spa town of Duszniki-Zdrój is a remarkable example of the so-called Schiffkanzeln from the 1720s. It takes the form of a huge fish with an open mouth for the priest, who thus becomes the counterpart of the biblical prophet Jonah.
