V nich autoři zkoumají vývoj a vnitřní strukturu Chrudimského kraje na počátku 17. století a zdůrazňují význam raně novověkých daňových registrů pro historické bádání. eng	Chrudim Region in 1614 AD	In this book, the authors adopt a unique approach by reconstructing the Chrudim Region based on a recently uncovered tax register from 1614. The 1614 edition of the tax register for the Chrudim Region (which also includes records of partial changes made between 1614 and 1616) and a systematic identification of individual taxpayers (organized by individual manors and smaller estates) are complemented by introductory analytical chapters. In them, the authors explore the evolution and internal structure of the Chrudim Region at the start of the 17th century and highlight the significance of early modern tax registers for historical research. The book is accompanied by richly illustrated appendices, featuring genealogical charts, heraldic symbols of noble families and cities, and reconstruction maps.
