Tím, že se hlouběji zabývám napětím při péči o místo, které umírá, popisuji environmentální zármutek jako zkušenost "existenciální bezzemkovosti". Zaměřuji se na něj jako na časově rozšířenou afektivní zkušenost postupného opouštění. Na základě teorie zármutku Matthewa Ratcliffa (Ratcliffe 2022) tvrdím, že ačkoli se z lásky k místu, které umírá, může vynořit pocit vytěsnění a krize identity, afektivně nabité procesy vytváření smyslu stále pokračují. To je to, co nazývám truchlícím smyslem. Tvrdím, že právě to může láska v zármutku dělat: tlačit na hledání nových smyslů, nikoli jako přesun dál, ale jako afektivní závazek k životu navzdory okolnostem. Je tomu tak proto, že zármutek je nejen pokračováním lásky, ale láska je také pokračováním zármutku. V tom se může rozvinout naděje. V závěru zdůrazňuji etický a politický význam environmentálního smutku v lokalizovaných, ale zároveň síťových environmentálních akcích v rámci transgenerační environmentální odpovědnosti.	láska; zármutek; místo; environmentální filozofie; jednání
eng	Loving a Place That Is Dying	After introducing the intertwining of love and grief in human experience, I present my existentially laden enactive account of loving a place that is dying. By digging deeper into the tensions in attending to a place that is dying, I depict environmental grief as an experience of “existential groundlessness”. I focus on it as a temporally extended affective experience of progressive abandonment. By drawing on Matthew Ratcliffe’s theory of grief (Ratcliffe 2022), I argue that although a feeling of displacement and identity crisis can emerge out of loving a place that is dying, affectively charged processes of sense- making are still ongoing. This is what I call grieving sense- making. I argue that this is precisely what love can do in grief: pushing to find new meanings, not as moving on but as an affective commitment to life despite the circumstances. This is because not only is grief a continuation of love; but love is also a continuation of grief. In this, hope can unfold. I conclude by stressing the ethical and political significance of environmental grief in localised yet networked environmental actions within the framework of transgenerational environmental responsibility.	love; grief; place; environmental philosophy; enaction
