eng	Strategies and Tactics of Patients in the 19th Century´s Spa Environment	In the process of spa development in the context of the long 19th century, it is possible to clearly observe the gradual transformation of the spa infrastructure towards the institutionalized space similar to hospitals. Spa localities were typical by the importance of sociability which was intertwined with the medical therapy based on the use of natural resources. As the turn of 19th and 20th century progressed, spa localities were becoming more similar to hospitals. This phenomenon will be observed through the transformation of the infrastructure of the spa.
