Although spa visit is often depicted as a leisure activity, most of the clients had to overcome often very harsh therapeutical practices, which had a significant impact on their bodies. Thus, considering the future anthology of historical sources, the project members should consider also the less pristine and memorable aspects of everyday life in the spa, such as literary representation, memories reflecting the social network of creme de la creme society, but also the medical procedures, deaths, and pain which was caused by the spa cure effects.
