eng	Aristocracy and Hunting in the Late-Imperial Russia	The chapter is devoted to the relationship between aristocracy and hunting in late Tsarist Russia (ca. 1850-1917). The chapter analyses hunting as a leisure (sporting) activity of the nobility, notices different types of hunting and discusses its potential changes after the abolition of serfdom. The chapter gives special attention to the representation of hunting in aristocratic memory (here, the author draws on an extensive corpus of sources of a personal nature, especially memoirs and diaries).
