Bohemian Count between the Baroque and Enlightment	The author has reconstructed the life of Count Prokop Adalbert Czernin on the basis of extensive archival research. He then compared his findings with his better-known ancestors and answered the question why the Count did not succeed in court and provincial functions. Furthermore, the author analysed the penetration of Enlightenment ideas into the Count's life and drew particular attention to his involvement in the organisation of theatrical life in Prague.
