cze Svatí patroni města Pardubic v 18. století V účetních dokumentech o hospodaření města Pardubic (východní Čechy) z 18. století se dochovaly doklady o konání slavnostních zpívaných mších v děkanském kostele k uctění tří svatých patronů města: svatého Arnošta, Floriána a Linharta (Leonarda). Je to doklad barokní zbožnosti obyvatel města a iniciativy městské rady. Svatý Arnošt (první pražský arcibiskup, †1364) nebyl katolickou církví nikdy kanonizován, v lidovém prostředí měl v Čechách v barokní době úctu světce jako tvůrce zázračné gotické sošky Panny Marie Svatohorské. Zvláštností je také uctívání svatého Linharta (Leonarda) v městském prostředí. Uctívali jej zde patrně jako ochránce hovězího dobytka a koní. Uctívání tří svatých patronů města formou slavnostních zpívaných mší se v Pardubicích objevilo zřejmě před polovinou 18. století a přestalo být provozováno někdy na začátku 19. století. eng Patron Saints of Pardubice in the 18th century In the accounts documents on the economy of the town of Pardubice (Eastern Bohemia) from the 18th century, there is evidence of ceremonial sung masses in the deanery church in honour of the three patron saints of the town: St. Arnošt, Florian and Linhart (Leonard). This is evidence of the Baroque piety of the people and the initiative of the Town Council. St. Ernest (the first Archbishop of Prague, †1364) was never canonized by the Catholic Church, but in the folk milieu in Bohemia in the Baroque period the saint was revered as the creator of the miraculous Gothic statue of the Virgin Mary of Holy Mountain (Příbram). The veneration of St. Linhart (Leonard) in urban settings is a peculiarity. He was probably worshipped here as a protector of cattle and horses. The veneration of the three patron saints of the tow in the form of festive sung masses appeared in Pardubice probably before the middle of the 18th century and ceased sometime at the beginning of the early19th century.
