eng Counselling system and diagnostics in the Czech Republic The chapter in the book analyzes the development of the educational, psychological, and specifically pedagogical counseling system in the Czech Republic from 1989 to the present. The authors reflect on political changes and their impact on the educational environment, particularly in the context of strong state control and cultural traditions. Simultaneously, it addresses new challenges such as the rise in problematic behavior in schools, the diagnosis of learning disorders and ADHD, issues with drug consumption, and the influence of modern technologies. The authors highlight the importance of the school counseling system, the system of specially educational and preventive care in educational institutions, and specially trained professionals dedicated to the prevention and intervention in students' behavior.
