V první rovině odlišuje vychovatelství jako samostatnou profesi a "vychovatelství" jako důležitou součást jiné profese / poslání (např. rodič, trenér, mistr odborného výcviku, kněz). eng	Education and upbringing	In the monograph, the author looks at upbringing and education from many points of view. On the first level, he distinguishes between parenting as an independent profession and "parenting" as an important part of another profession/mission (e.g. parent, coach, master of vocational training, priest). On the second level, he emphasizes the diversity of the teaching profession associated with age and other characteristics determining his work with the target group (from the school club to serving a prison sentence). Despite this diversity, he looks for what is the common denominator of this work. The third level is the educator's personality and his typology. The fourth level is strategies of educational work and educational styles. He also perceives educational diagnostics as part of them.
