Mobilita na staré Rusi	Kapitola v odborné knize pojednává o různých způsobech mobility, přesunů a cestování na staré Rusi, tedy v období od 10. do 13. století. V textu jsou představeny příklady mobility různých sociálních vrstev. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována především elitě, tedy vrstvě knížat z rodu Rurikovců, ovšem zároveň se text zabývá i dalšími sociálními skupinami, především církevním prostředím. V textu je konstatováno, že pohyb obyvatelstva ve středověku byl pochopitelně mnohem omezenější než v příštích staletích, zvláště pak v moderní době. Na druhé straně však toto období nebylo tak prostorově uzavřené, jak by se na první pohled mohlo zdát. Naopak – přinášelo celou řadu příležitostí k přesunům; mobilita rozšiřovala obzory a vytvářela mentální krajinu středověkého člověka, v níž chápal své a cizí, domovské a zahraniční a vztahoval se k pomyslným středům zemského okruhu i vlastní komunity. Mobility in old Russia	The chapters in the scholarly book deal with the various modes of mobility, movement and travel in ancient Russia, i.e. in the period from the 10th to the 13th century. Examples of mobility of different social classes are presented in the text. Particular attention is paid to the elite, i.e. the class of princes of the Rurik family, but at the same time the text also deals with other social groups, especially the ecclesiastical milieu. The text concludes that the movement of the population in the Middle Ages was naturally much more limited than in the following centuries, especially in modern times. On the other hand, the period was not as spatially enclosed as it might at first appear. On the contrary, it brought a whole range of Mobility expanded horizons and created a mental landscape in which medieval man understood the self and the stranger, the home and the foreign, and related to the imaginary centres of the globe and his own community.
