eng Bohemian Electoral Diplomats to the Elections of the Roman King in the Context of Early Modern Diplomacy This paper compares the delegations of the Bohemian kings participating in the election of the new Roman kings in 1650-1750. Five elections were held in this period, but only three were attended by diplomats of the Bohemian king (1657/8, 1711 and 1745). The author has compared the personnel of the missions, their journey to Frankfurt am Main and the tasks entrusted to these diplomats. There were more and more of them, because by the 18th century they were already participating in the election and casting their vote in the conclave instead of their sovereign.
