V praktické části se příspěvek zabývá udržováním paměti bývalého německého obyvatelstva ve středovýchodní Evropě v literárních textech. eng Intercultural learning using the example of a learning research project in the European Capitals of Culture The article presents a project in which students under guidance designed and carried out independent projects on seven European Capitals of Culture. As a theoretical conceptual framework, "space" served as a social construct and as a category of collective attributions of meaning. The European city is to be understood as a palimpsest in which various ethnic groups and language communities formed the urban space and material relics of different historical periods. One focus is on "cultural memory", keeping alive the memory of the former German population in Central Eastern Europe in literary texts.
