Sicily Summer School in Environmental Humanities	The presentation aims at showing the explanatory value of Wittgensteinian attitudes for understanding certain crucial layers of human environmental behavior. After analyses of current attitudes towards nature, the presentation concludes by claiming that the issue of the lack of adequate environmental behavior is caused by not having an adequate attitude toward climate. Therefore to reach appropriate environmental behavior, one of the following is necessary: (i) Developing a positive attitude toward climate and protecting it similarly as nature or (ii) Enlarging our way of seeing nature so that it also incorporates the climate.
