Jan Daniel (1895-1943) se navíc již v r. 1923 snažil upozornit na obtížnou situaci a nedostatečnou péči v oblasti vzdělávání romských dětí v celém Československu: napsal a odeslal dopis prezidentu republiky, kde vyjádřil touhu, aby se jeho národ stal součástí československého národa. Během svých divadelních aktivit se soubor snažil posílit jak romskou, tak i českou identitu a dokázat, že romské rodiny mají potenciál obohatit československou kulturu. Jeho synovec František Kýr (1914-1985) se stal významným pokračovatelem romského divadla, jako jeden z mála původních hetců přežil holokaust Romů a stal se jedním z buditelů romského etnoemancipačního hnutí v poválečném odbobí, a to především v éře Svazu Cikánů-Romů (1969-1973). The Daniel and Kýr Families from the Strážnice Area and their Attempts to Improve the Position of Moravian and Slovak Roma to Benefit Czechoslovakia	The contribution is composed of an introduction, a summary and two separate portraits - representatives of the Moravian Roma, representatives of the Roma theater established in Strážnice and operating in the 1920s to the 1940s on the Moravian-Slovak border. In addition, Jan Daniel (1895-1943) already in 1923 tried to draw attention to the difficult situation and insufficient care in the field of education of Roma children throughout Czechoslovakia: he wrote and sent a letter to the president of the republic, expressing his desire for his nation to become part of the Czechoslovak nation. During its theatrical activities, the troupe tried to strengthen both Roma and Czech identity and prove that Roma families have the potential to enrich Czechoslovakian culture. His nephew František Kýr (1914-1985) became an important successor of the Roma theatre – he was at the head of the younger generation, as one of the few original actors who survived the Roma holocaust and became one of the founders of the Roma ethno-emancipation movement in the post-war period, especially in the era of the Union Gypsies-Roma (1969-1973).
