Kant and Others	The book "Autonomy in Dialogue" is part of a broader project that explores Kant's "invention" of autonomy through interviews with selected figures from the European philosophical tradition. What is the truth of the suspicion that autonomy, understood as the self-relation of the rational subject, is incapable of relating appropriately to alterity - be it the alterity of the other person, the world, or the alterity of God? Is this basic idea of Kant's to be abandoned, and with it the whole tradition of "egological" rationality, or can it somehow be improved upon by the impulses of Kant's successors or opponents? This volume invites the reader to think through these questions with B. Spinoza, A. Schopenhauer, F. Nietzsche, M. Heidegger, K. Jaspers or J. Patočka.	autonomy;dialogue;Kant;ethics;metaphysics
