eng	Socrates as a Teacher	The paper focuses on the protreptic elements of dialogue and examines the hypothesis that the goal of the dialogue is to attract the attention of the audience to the skills of the philosophical teacher Socrates. The author distinguishes between the level of explicit debate, at which discussion often ends in aporia, and the level of the possible solutions, for which the main speaker delivers enough conceptual material and suggests the possibility of its systematic interconnection; however, instead of pronouncing the solution, he intentionally escalates the tension of the conversation, which aims to arouse the interest of the listener and his motivation to continue the discussion with the living teacher.
