eng	A dispute on Pardubices Earliest History	The author of this paper responds to a polemic text by Tomáš Čurda entitled “A schism in the earliest history of Pardubice and the phenomenon of archeology”, published in a previous issue of this journal (Východočeský sborník historický, 33, 2018. At the core of the dispute is the relocation of the Cyriac monastery and the church of St Bartholomew in Pardubice. The author of this paper holds a different opinion: that the monastery and church were located somewhere on the site of today’s historic city centre.	Pardubice; History; 13th - 14th century
