eng	Contepmorary Coptic Iconography	The thesis covers three main topics: 1) The influence of the West and the Western view of Egypt and the Egyptians themselves on the Copts and the Coptic Orthodox Church in the context of colonialism. And the impact of all this on the Coptic Iconography. 2) The formation of the national Coptic Iconography. The aspect of the ethnicity of the Copts as a nation that has its roots in Ancient Egypt.
