eng	The ambiguity of the Enlightement according to Jan Patočka	In his contribution the author tries to show the certain ambiguity in Jan Patočka’s conception of the Enlightenment:in spite of the fact that Patočka does recognize the importance of the rationalism in the classic forms of the English, Scottish, French 18th century philosophy and above all the importance of the Kantian criticism, he has emphasized especially the importance of the thinking of Herder, Goethe and others which culminated in the form of the so called Naturphilosophie.
