eng The Link Between Practices and Beliefs in Medieval Jewish Thought The author in the present contribution dealt with the link between beliefs and practices, and showed that the scholars' assumption about its existence in every religion or culture share Jewish scholars since antiquity. However from research of some contemporary scholars stems, that the scientific assumption is characteristic for Jewish, Christian or Muslim culture and is hardly applicable to cultures of ancient Greeks, Egyptians or Romans. The existence of link has to do more with a nature of religion such as Judaism. identity; medieval; Judaism; practices; beliefs; medieval; Jewish thought
