Autor, etnolog působící na Univerzitě Pardubice, podává hutnou formou etnokulturní specifika romské písňové poezie. Vychází především z autentických romských textů, jejichž korpus je výsledkem jeho terénních sběrů v uplynulých více než třiceti letech. Texty analyzuje a zasazuje je do širšího etnohistorického rámce. Ukazuje, jakou roli hrál v romském společenství spontánní hudební projev a všímá si i skutečnosti, že etnická píseň je stále ještě výrazným konstitutivním prvkem romské kultury. The author, ethnologist working at the University of Pardubice, buffet dense ethnic and cultural specifics of the Roma song poetry. Mainly based on authentic texts Roma, whose body is the result of its field collection in the past more than thirty years. The text analyzes advocates is making a broader ethnohistorical framework.
