The module was implemented in the third year of English for Business bachelor studies, Project course. The paper discusses teacher’s experience with the module and findings of action research done in the winter term of the academic year 2012/2013. The paper reveals reasons for Workshop integrating as a tool supporting development of lifelong-learning competence, evaluates the course integrating Workshop module, and indicates advantages and disadvantages of its use in blended university courses of academic writing.
