eng	Did you learn, have you learned or were you learning?	The presentation is focused on the use of various verb forms in the spoken discourse by Czech native speakers. More than forty interviews of future EFL teachers are analysed for the purpose of researching correct or incorrect use of finite and non-finite verb forms. Mainly the categories of tense and aspect are in the centre of inquiry and the use is judged according to the overall aim of the spoken discourse.
