Jsou výsledkem řešení grantového projektu v jeho poloviční fázi. Tři kapitoly, jejichž autorem je řešitel (P. Skalník) uvádějí do problematiky re-studia obce Dolní Roveň, o níž byla publikována rurálně sociologická monografie ve 30.letech. Jedna z těchto kapitol je v angličtině. Po jedné kapitole zde publikují spoluřešitelé B.Šalanda a J.Šubrt (systém osobních vazeb v obci a první výsledky sociologické ankety). Další kapitoly, napsané přidruženými členy výzkumného týmu, se zabývají zemědělstvím, geografickým vymezením, vlivem globální kultury na lokální, pověstí obce v jejím okolí a počátky období socialismu v obci.
eng	Dolní Roveň: Research at HalfTime	This monographic collective work contains 13 chapters and annexes (textual documents). These are resulting from the first half of the grant research project. Three chapters authored by the project director (P.Skalník) introduce in the problems of the re-study of the commune of Dolní Roveň, subject of a rural sociological monograph published in the 1930s. One of these chapters is in English. One chapter each were written by co-directors of research, B.Šalanda and J.Šubrt (system of personal links in the commune, preliminary results of sociological questionnaire). Remaining chapters, written by associated members of the research team, deal with agriculture, geographical setting, influence of global culture on local society, reputation of the commune in its vicinity and the beginnings of socialist era in the commune.
