Description:
The main focus of my work in Israel should be to evaluate and analyze Hejdánek´s conception, i.e. to elucidate or even determinate his position in the cadre of ideological, philosophical and cultural trends in the 20th century world. This crucial task in the interpretation of his work can be beneficial not only for a better understanding of Hejdánek´s work, but it can enrich a global understanding of the non-political policy and dissent as well. Apart from the above mentioned comparison with traditions developing the Hebrew concept of truth (in opposition to the Greek one) I also suppose that Hejdánek can be seen as a parallel to and diversification or enrichment of the political realism (Bernard Williams, Bonnie Honig, etc.). At the IDC Herzlyia I would like to concentrate on the critical analysis (and searching for other inspirations to it) with regard to trends which seem the nearest to the soul of Hejdánek´s thoughts: British critics of the moral approach, legalism and the so called high liberalism (Bernard Williams, Stuart Hamphsire, Richard Bellamy, etc.), eventually also left nitzscheans (Bonnie Honig).
