The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the University of Pardubice had the honor of welcoming Ukrainian philosopher, journalist, and writer Volodymyr Yermolenko, who accepted our invitation and gave a lecture titled Thinking in Dark Times on April 16, 2025.
The lecture took the form of a moderated interview, conducted by Alena Roreitnerová and the head of the department, Ondřej Krása. The conversation provided space for reflection on the current situation in Ukraine, the role of philosophy in times of crisis, and broader social and cultural contexts.
