eng Christian or Colonial? Debates about the Nature of Inter-Religious Dialogue in nineteenth Century India There has been considerable debate about the nature of encounters between Europeans and Indians in the nineteenth century. In order to answer this question, it is necessary to analyse legacy of much older Christian thinking.
