eng To Philosophical Interpretation of Comenius‘ Labyrinth Comenius’ consolatory writings express fear about where the world is headed. The main theme of these writings is the bitter critique of society and turning away from earthly life. The most important and most famous Comenius’ consolatory work is an allegorical work Labyrinth of the World and Paradise of the Heart. Pilgrim goes through the city and wants to find the true essence and meaning of life. But in this labyrinth nothing is in its place, the pilgrim is lost in it. The world is a labyrinth in which you can not find anything strong and true. Pilgrim finds shelter and peace in paradise of your heart, where he connects with God. Jan Patocka, however, the first showed that these writings play in understanding the Comenius personality and philosophy fundamental and irreplaceable role. Comenius, labyrinth, Jan Patocka
