eng	Catherine of Siena on the way to the canonization	The book concenrs in detail on the construction of the saint model of Catherine of Siena, on the constituent atttributes of her saint example, and puts them in the context of the actual church situation and especialy of the interests of the "authors" of this saint model. It catchs not only the ways and techniques of the hagiographers in promoting Catherine, but also the their motivations, which urge them forward in their procanonization-activities.
