eng	Beginnings of the Interest in Historical Monuments (particularly archaeological) in the Pardubice Region	This thesis deals with the archaeological research which was done in Pardubice region from the 80´s of 19th century up to the World War II. There are introduced the most important persons who somehow contributed to the development of society in the context of the protection of monuments and their maintenance. The thesis also presents the most important localities in Pardubice region where significant archaeological finds occurred. Then the reader is acquainted with one of the most important associations that were concerned with the protection of the monuments with the Pardubice Museum Association.
