cze Smrt a pohřeb u Romů na Slovensku. Pantheon. Religionistický časopis. Religiozita Romů a s ní související témata, jakými jsou pohřební rituály nebo smrt a představy s ní spojené, byly ještě poměrně nedávno stranou zájmu českých a slovenských religionistů a etnologů. Více článků a odborných studií na toto téma se v české ale zejména slovenské vědecké produkci objevuje teprve od devadesátých let minulého století. Tato studie vychází především z literatury, avšak přestože není výsledkem cíleného výzkumu, je korigována terénní zkušeností autora. Po obecném úvodu věnovaném religiozitě Romů následují chronologicky řazená dílčí témata, počínaje představami o duši a konče způsoby, jakými se na mrtvé vzpomíná. eng Death and funeral of the Roma in Slovakia The religiosity of the Roma and the related topics such as funeral rituals or death as well as the ideas about death were still quite recently beyond the scope of interest of the Czech and Slovak religionists and ethnologists. Only 1990s saw the increase of production of articles and papers on this issue by the Czech but especially Slovak scholars. Drawing primarily on literature, this paper is not an outcome of a targeted research, yet it has been corrected by the field experience of the author. A general introduction on the Romani religiosity is followed by individual topics in chronological sequence, from the ideas about soul to the ways of recalling the dead. The paper aims at providing an outline about the death and funeral issues in the Roma at the contemporary level of knowledge.
