eng	Schopenhauer and Wackenroder: Suffering as an Artist’s Life Strategy	Within the reflection of Romantic literature, Schopenhauer includes the theme of art and an artist in his philosophical system. According to him, art gradually takes over the role of still dominated Catholic Church. The reflection of Schopenhauer’s reading early Romantic literature and its impact on the observations relating to an artist’s personality, especially in the field of an artist’s suffering and the connection of genius and insanity, also worth mentioning. In his philosophical system, Schopenhauer completed the process of an artist’s autonomy, which was proposed in Wackenroder´s and Tieck’s works.
