eng	Addressing in German and Czech	The sociolinguistic study of forms of address in Czech, compared to German from an intercultural point of view. The topic includes forms of greetings, ways of saying goodbye, using of titles, and of the words Mr. or Mrs. in Czech public life. Theoretical basis will be depicted using observations and interviews with participants. Therefore, we should be able to offer a theoretical as well as empirical insight into the structures and phrases when addressing people in both languages.
