Příslušníci a příslušnice českých a moravských elit se vydávali za hranice habsburského soustátí, členové a členky dalších sociálních skupin se obvykle pohybovali uvnitř podunajské monarchie. S ohledem na současný stav historického bádání se zdá, že sami cestovatelé v průběhu 19. století věnovali pozornost "jinému a cizímu", než tomu, že se cestování stalo běžnou záležitostí pro celou společnost. eng	The Travelling in the 19th century: reflection of the losing of the exceptionality	In the “long” 19th century the new means of transport came into, the reasons for the travelling and journeys expanded and also a social structure of the travellers changed. The members of the Bohemian and Moravian élites travelled over the borders of the Habsburg monarchy; the members of other social groups moved usually within this monarchy. With the respect of a historical research, it seems that during the 19th century the travellers took an interest of “another and foreign”, but they overlooked the fact, that the travelling became a common and everyday matter for all parts of the society.
